Adopted in 2016

Walter

Walter was pulled from a high kill shelter in New York. At the age of 4, Walter had developed severe aggression and could not be handled. He spent a month with our Executive Director learning how to live around people, but he was not making progress.

Brook

Brook, formerly Betty, was found tied up to a pole in New York City by a wonderful lady named Kristina (but we call her an angel!). Brook was dirty, matted, and frightened. With Kristina’s help, she found NAWR and received medical care.

Rose (formerly Jelly Belly)

Rose came from a breeding situation and was transported up to Massachusetts through our wonderful volunteers. She is joined by her fur brothers, Riley and Vinny. She survived a surgical procedure that had some cancer concerns and learned how to be a spoiled Westie.
