About McKenzie

About McKenzie

McKenzie, or “Mac,” is a 10-year male Westie who came to our program in late December 2021. He is a large boy who likes to snuggle! One of his favorite things to do is rest on top of his foster mom’s head. (Seriously!) He is a very loyal dog who fits in well with his foster home’s large pack of other dogs which includes other Westies. He enjoys playing with the other dogs, and occasionally tries to show them what a big dog he is. But it is all fun and games! Mac is great on a leash and taking walks. He loves being outside but enjoys his indoor time too, especially with fun dog toys.

He has a medical condition that requires a daily supplement. He must take a daily pill for the rest of his life. Otherwise, he is a healthy boy with no major health conditions.

Mac is living in our Sprite program due to his behavioral health conditions. He lives with parents Vicki and Stephen in Delaware along with Westie brother Angus and Westie sister Donatella.
