UPDATE: Heather has been adopted! We are so happy for our dear girl!
North Atlantic Westie Rescue welcomed Heather, an 8-year old adult female Westie into our program partnering with the Scottish Terrier Club of Greater New York Rescue program to foster her and get her a forever home. Heather had complex medical needs when she arrived in foster care, including Malassezia Dermatitis which is a yeast infection caused by untreated ear and skin conditions. She also had two bladder stones removed in January. We are happy that Heather found a placement with a previous adopter from STCGNY. Congratulations Heather on your new family!
