About Benny
Benny, a Papillon, was transferred to NAWR by the Animal Rescue League of Boston. He had been surrendered there at the ripe old age of 14 with a large anal tumor and a grade IV heart murmur. After surgery to remove the anal tumor, Benny recovered in his foster home with three other Westies. Despite his size, he was the king of the house! He was adopted and loved for well over a year by his adoptive parents, Donna and Stephen, who also had another senior Papillon named Opie. In mid-2016, Benny passed away after having a stroke. He was a special boy who touched the hearts of many. We will miss him! Rest in peace, dear Ben Ben.
